SPECIAL “MUST BE WON SYNDICATE”
 

About every 5/6/7 or 8 weeks the national lottery holds either a 'must be won' or 'super draw'. 

When this comes around the jackpot can be around £12m or even £15m or £20m. 

If the jackpot is not won (and this is the good bit) then the huge amount is shared by all the other prize winners.

For example, on Saturday Sept 7

Jackpot of £15m not won

5 balls and a bonus therefore paid £1,274,504 instead of £1m

5 balls paid £6997 instead of £1750

4 balls paid £255 instead of £140

3 balls paid £87 instead of £30

2 balls paid £5 instead of nothing + a lucky dip

With all this in mind we are starting a "must be won" syndicate (must be won draws only happen about six - eight times a year)

The fee would be £16 per person and for that you get 8 sets of numbers and of course all the other participants numbers!

Let’s say 40 decide you want to participate in this special syndicate. This would provide 320 sets of numbers. The numbers would be purchased on the day before the draw by hand not online.

As a player you would then be emailed all 320 lines of numbers before the draw.

On the night all lines are checked....let's say out of 320 lines:

1 line of 4 wins £140

25 lines of 3 wins £30 total £750

98 get 2 numbers wins only lucky dip 

Total £890 (each player winning £22.25)

BUT IF THE JACKPOT WAS NOT WON then these could be the increased figures

1 line of 4 win £255

25 wins of 3 balls is £87 total £2175

98 wins 2 numbers wins lucky dips plus pays out £5 total 490

Total £2923

The £2923 is then divided by the 40 players which gives each player £73.07 plus 98 lucky dips.

Now the tickets are  NOT cashed in UNTIL the next must be won draw....because all 98 lucky dips would be used in the next must be won draw.

On the eve of the next must be won draw (in this example) all players are owed £73.07 but £16 is taken for the next fee....and then all players will be sent the balance of £57.07 to their bank accounts  ………….

But with THAT draw you not only get 320 lines you also get the additional 98 lucky dips giving you 418 chances.

And then the winners of that second draw are again held over to the next draw etc. etc

Now let's imagine 100 players decide to join this new must be won syndicate....that would give you 800 lines of numbers. With the winning amount divided by all 100. On Sep 7 the jackpot was not won so the next prize was £1,127m. If we got that then all 100 players would win £11,270.

Not life changing but a nice win of £11,270 nonetheless.

Had the 100 players found the jackpot of £12.7m in their 800 lines then each player would have won £127,000. 

So now over to you....Would you like to enter the special "must be won" syndicate for £16? You can also have MORE than one go - maybe you would like two (£32) or three (£48) ...........It's quite possible you might only have to pay that figure once as each of the following draws might already been paid for if we each win £16 each time.

But please note you will only be paid out on the eve of the following must be won draw.
